About the Creator
Hello, my name is Akhilan Gurumoorthy, and I am a high schooler from Southern California. I love sports (follow my blog at https://fanmusings.com) and video games, and I have always had an interest in programming.
My Inspiration
I built this app because of my grandparents. My family and I live in America, but my grandparents still live in India. Because of this, we can’t always check up on our grandparents. They live alone, so they tend to miss some of their medications. This could have had an incredibly negative impact, so I began to think about how I could fix these problems. I also began to see this problem appear a lot more during the coronavirus pandemic. People aren’t able to visit their relatives because of this quarantine period, so those relatives could also tend to miss more medications and other tasks than they normally would.
While thinking about these things, I came up with an idea for this app. It was a reminder app that could be used for the most basic things, but it had features that would allow me to provide some help to both my problems and the real-world problems of today. I hope this app will be as helpful to you as it is to me!
